CLASSIC OCCASIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

1 VIEWING

1 Viewing is by prior arrangement.

2 BOOKING

1 To book one or more cars, a deposit of $50 per car is required. A receipt will then be issued. Your booking will be confirmed by way of a signed booking form and the completion of an information form. A car will not be deemed to be booked until the said deposit has been received.

3 PAYMENT

1 Final and full payment is required 7 days prior to the date of hire or on the day of hire by prior arrangement.

4 CANCELLATION

1 Deposit(s) will be refunded in full up to 90 days prior to the date of hire.
2 Deposit(s) will be forfeited in the event of cancellation within 90 days prior to the date of hire.

5 CARS

Our classic cars are from the 1960’s era:

1 In the event of a mechanical incident, accident or other problem preventing the requested car from completing the hire, every endeavor will be made to provide another classic car. This may not always be possible in which case a full refund of any deposit(s) will be made.
2 In the event of an interruption during the period of hire every endeavor will be made to find a suitable replacement car either by way of another classic car or an executive car.
3 We will at all times do everything we can to ensure that you arrive at your destination on time. Please note that no compensation will be paid and liability accepted in the event of any loss/vehicle failure or disappointment.

6 SAFETY AND COMFORT

1 ·All hire must comply with NZ law including the use of child restraints.
2 Cars of this era do not have air conditioning.
3 While our cars are carefully groomed no liability can be accepted for any marks to clothing caused by road grime oil or grease, however as unlikely as this may be from any part of the vehicle.

7 AREA OF OPERATION

1 All prices are for hire in the Auckland metropolitan area. Quotes for other areas will be supplied on application.

8 DRIVING

1 All our cars are chauffeur driven and are not available for self drive hire.

9 BEHAVIOUR

1 No smoking is permitted in the cars.
2 Drinking in the cars is at the discretion of the chauffeur
3 The hirer is responsible for any damage incurred by themselves or their guests to any part of the car or equipment
